Increase the comfort & appeal of your property with a new pergola
Instead of sitting in the scorching sun or being rained on, a custom pergola will make it easier to use your outdoor space.
Whether it’s a cedar, pressure-treated, or an aluminum pergola, these shade structures are some of the most popular among our clients here in Blue Bell.
You can attach a pergola to your home or have it freestanding. Either way, your guests will love it. It’s something you definitely won’t achieve with an awning or a DIY option.
Some upgrades you can add to your new wood pergola:
- Built-in lighting
- Masonry posts
- Louvred, motorized roofs
- Benches and sitting areas
- Metal roofs
- Screened-in pergola
- Composite materials
- Cedar & Pressure-treated
- Masonry walls

Frequently Asked Questions
We’re building all pergolas with heavier cedar timber, and the typical price is $70 per square foot. Say you want a 24’x11′ pergola, this would come out as 312 sq. ft. at $70 per sq. ft., which would be around $22,000.
This would be a higher-end pergola done with a high-end service, meaning we’ll take care of everything for you. We’ll prep the area, build and install the pergola, deal with the permits, and clean the site afterwards.
For a more accurate price, please request a quote. Ballparking the cost without knowing the actual scope of work never turns out great.
Yes! You’ll get our 5-year workmanship warranty and the materials warranty that can range from 5-years to lifetime warranty. Please note that these warranties are limited, and they only cover certain workmanship issues and materials defects.
Most of our pergolas are built with heavier cedar timber, like 4×12 headers, 4×8 rafters, and 2×4 purlins. We also love metal pergolas as they’re incredibly durable and they look upscale.
Pressure-treated wood is more attractive because of the lower price, but much less durable than the naturally resistant cedar.
For roofs, we can do Suntuf Polycarbonate sheets, metal, wood, cloth, PVC and various other materials. Depending on your needs and budget, we’ll help you choose the right roof.
It takes us anywhere from 1 to 3 days to build a custom wood pergola, once all the materials are on site. However, timelines might be affected by weather. Here in PA, it rains a lot and that’s the #1 reason for delays on outdoor projects.
Yes! Whether you got yours from Lowe’s, Home Depot, Costco, or anywhere else, we can install your prefab pergola.
However, it’s important to know that these prefabricated pergolas come in certain sizes and styles only, and some might not fit your outdoor space perfectly.
